I’m sitting in my studio with Loel Barr and just uploaded this new motel pic for the banner that will be one of my first paintings in my return to Vanishing Roadside Americana series
this will be a big painting
Yesterday and today I’ve been cleaning up the studio and clearing away the layers of holiday wrapping paper and ribbon, stacks of papers that hadn’t been filed, art supplies that were moved out of drawers to share the stackable drawers with Richard, etc etc. I also caught up with myself on the final month of my visual journal – whew! I have kept my agreement to make one entry per day for the entire year. Winding down now with only a few more days left. It feels like a relief. I’m looking forward to making this blog into a virtual visual journal – so I can share my images with all of you. I think I will pick my favorite image from each month last year and post as “the best of 2009″! Coming the first week in the new year!
